Teen Challenge of Missouri Boarding Academy uses Alpha Omega
curriculum. This individualized curriculum is based on performance.
Each student is given a diagnostic test upon entering the
program. A course of subjects based on the achievement level
and credit study will then be selected. Our goal is to allow
a student who is behind to catch up and enable a student who
is not behind to continue with academic success.
TCMBA utilizes the ASwitched on Schoolhouse@ version of the
Alpha Omega curriculum. This is a comprehensive, biblically-based
curriculum that offers computer based learning for grades
3-12, including animation and video clips. Scoring is automatic,
giving quick feedback.
This mastery learning based curriculum ensures that students
really know the content and skills before progressing. Since
studies are individualized, each student spends the needed
time on a subject to master it.
